Wither Muscato?

I know those of us familiar with our sister blogger Cafe Muscato are concerned about his extended, and completely unaccaeptable, absence.

Oh, that silly tramp. What could have happened? Is he off on an undercover detail for the Good Taste Police? Terroristas? Animal Care and Control? Could the estimable Ermilia finally have snapped and turned on him?

I do miss the old darling. News bulletins about expat life in a Gulf that is not Mexico seem so exotic to little me. Plus he seems to be the only who who shares my misguided love for the works of E.F. Benson.

Come back Muscato. All is forgiven.

  1. I know! I'm worried.
I'm just hoping he's happily taken up with his Mr. Patel and can't be bothered to answer the phone.

  2. He's legally changed his name to Mlle. Toujour la Clinch and is singing melancholy cabaret songs in some secluded rendezvous that overlooks the avenue.

  3. Oddly enough, I was just writing about the same thing here. He's not responding to emails, either, which is quite unusual. Anyone check on Facebook?

  4. I have been concerned. Normally when a blog goes dormant its been my policy to move it to a new section rather then just remove it. I have been very apprehensive to move his though because prolonged silences are not his forte.

  6. I am thinking pokey. I hope I am wrong. Meantime-kabuki still loves mr. peenee and husband. Although if you would refer to him as 'sex-toy' if would tart up the place a little. jusy sayin

  7. Sent him an email this very weekend myself. Perhaps our conscious collective will revive him from the poppy fields.

  8. MJ just got me thinking of that torch song which ends with "If I am trash, just take me away!" - I can't quite remember the other lines, but Mlle La Clinch would be a show stopper in that role.

Our dear Muscato is missing and here we are, sitting oddly askew like yesterday's over-steamed broccoli, totally incapable of effectively enquiring about his well being.

    It makes you think.
